Functionality

This Makkon conveyor system for the wood industry consists of an air cushion table for loading the panel workpieces, followed by an infeed conveyor.

After edge banding (stock), the products are measured by three sensors and transported away. The manipulator, equipped with vacuum suction plates, picks up the panel, lifts it and either stacks it next to the system or, after rotating, sets it down on a belt that transports the panel back towards the operator. The workpieces are stopped with another air cushion table.
